Hope you're doing well. I just got back from a relaxing vacation at the lake, where I finally had the chance to dive into a few shows that I've been meaning to watch for ages. It was the perfect backdrop to settle in and catch up - plus, I snapped a photo of the lake to share with you!
We all have those must-watch lists that never seem to get any shorter, but I was thrilled to finally cross of some top picks from mine while at the lake. Here's a rundown of the shows I got completely absorbed in (and why I think you might enjoy them too!).
Avatar: The Last Airbender Season 1 (Live Action)
Having loved the animated series, I was honestly surprised at how much I enjoyed the live-action version - maybe even a little more! The world they created is stunning, and I was really drawn to how they've woven different cultures together in a way that feels so authentic. I can't wait for Season 2!
The Wheel of Time Season 2
With half of Robert Jordan's books under my belt, I was eager to see how the show would handle Season 2. Although TV adaptations can lose some book details, I felt they stayed true to the main storylines. Watching Elaine's character evolve so deeply was a highlight - her arc was even more transformative than Rand's this season! The show captures the essence of the books so well that I found myself completely lost in it.
Bridgerton Season 3
Season 3 has been my favorite yet, especially with the focus on Penelope Featherington's storyline. I relate to her character in so many ways, and I'm glad they gave her the spotlight this season. If you haven't seen Bridgerton yet, it's worth watching! Although it's technically a historical romance, the lavish balls, intricate dresses, and plot twists give it a sort of fairy tale fantasy alternate reality like appeal. It's a beautiful escape!
I'd love to hear what you've been watching lately - especially if you have any fantasy recommendations! Anything that's blow you away recently? Let me know; I'm always looking for new shows to get into.
Thanks for joining me on this little escape! I'll be back soon with more updates on the production of Wings of Steel, but until then, happy watching. I can't wait to hear from you!

PS: If you've ever had a show on your list for ages before watching it, I know the feeling. There's nothing like finally hitting 'play' and getting hooked!
